After a slow start and some navigational misshaps the day went really well. We managed to avoid the a30 but instead opted for the hillier Atlantic Highway, a lovely route following the north Cornish coast. stopped in Wadebridge for a lovely lunch in the sun before getting back on it to complete the final 45 miles to Oakhampton. 120 miles done so far on we have another 100 tomorrow to reach Bristol. Wish us luck.

The Start
We managed to get the first 17.5 miles in on the Friday but meant we didn't get to the hotel until 10.00 pm. The weather was misty but on the whole dry and it was great getting on the bikes after spending all day in the vans.
The boat journey !
Was an intersting crossing, with a few members of the party not feeling their best !!! Jude !

more than eight hours in the saddle every day! The route spans three countries, covers the
entire length of the British Isles, and is the one of ultimate cycling
challenges.
